Ongoing Projects

2000-2020

In the last five years, I have been mostly using large-format analog cameras. The focus on history, religion, politics, and other recurring themes only become stronger, connecting with each other and emerging as a total worldview that I consciously put forward. Presently, the convergence of digital and analog techniques still exists. But it is less of an experimental nature and more concerned with the image than with the formal implications of the medium. My current projects primarily focus on a search inside South-Indian cultures and base themselves on ancient literature, folklore, and rituals.
